The 12th edition of SOGCE is scheduled on 3rd and 4th July 2025. The conference will focus on business development within the framework of sustainability amidst the ongoing energy transition, examining how partnerships and collaborations with stakeholders can create value, opportunities, and benefits for the OGSE, state of Sabah and its economy, particularly within the oil, gas, and energy sectors, which hold significant potential.

We invite representatives from oil, gas, and energy companies, supply industries, technology experts, and policymakers to join us. The rapid changes brought about by the energy transition are opening new avenues for energy players to redefine their operations and offerings while committing to corrective climate actions. However, this transition must be approached through just and responsible pathways.

The conference will engage in critical discussions about the industry's future, covering key topics such as carbon capture and storage (CCS), emerging technologies, green financing, the future workforce, and the circular economy, all while maintaining a strong emphasis on health, safety, environmental protection, and operational efficiency.

The program will feature paper presentations and plenary sessions, alongside a dedicated program for young professionals organized in collaboration with the Society of Petroleum Engineers - Kuala Lumpur. Section and couple other exciting and rewarding programs that we will announce soon.
